ADSL Requirements

In order to have a successful ADSL installation, your telephone exchange infrastructure must support ADSL, you must be close enough to the exchange (otherwise transmission loss will be too high), your application form will need to be filled out correctly and your telephone line must not be using any products that are not compatible with ADSL.

Check with the FutureWeb Provisioning Team to see if ADSL or ADSL2+ is available on your telephone service, by calling Toll Free 1300 361 355.

Since it is a contractual requirement imposed by our provider, that ADSL2+ only may be sold as a bundle with Telephone Services, check if you are under contract with your current telco. Even if you are, you have a choice of provisioning another phone line, or using ADSL until your contract period expires.

Also look over the list below to make sure that the telephone line which is being upgraded doesn't utilise any of the following services.
